Long-grain, non-sticky and consistent. The default choice for high-volume everyday supply.
Request specs →Djibouti sits on one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes and is the maritime gateway for the Horn of Africa — around nine-tenths of Ethiopia’s imports move through it. We supply 5% broken white rice and parboiled rice to Djiboutian importers and to traders consolidating for the Addis Ababa corridor.
Transit is quoted with the price and confirmed on the booking. Documents are couriered ahead of vessel arrival so clearance is never waiting on paperwork.
Djibouti’s own population is small, but the port moves roughly 15 million tonnes of cargo a year, most of it in transit for Ethiopia. Rice is a significant part of that: national imports run to a few hundred thousand tonnes annually, and India is already the largest single source of it by a wide margin.
So buyers here are two quite different customers. Domestic importers sell into Djibouti itself; transit traders are really serving Addis Ababa, roughly 900 km inland by road and rail, and are buying against an onward schedule rather than a shelf. Tell us which you are and we will quote the packaging and timing that suits it.

FOB, CIF or CFR from Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Kolkata or Chennai. Phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, fumigation, SGS inspection, packing list, bill of lading and commercial invoice — prepared in full, every shipment.
White rice at 5% broken leads this corridor; parboiled rice is the established second line, and one India already supplies across the Horn.

Complete export documentation prepared for clearance, with labelling to your market’s requirement. Because import rules differ between domestic entry and transit cargo, we confirm the current position with you before the container is booked.
Import rules change. We prepare documentation to the requirements in force at the time of shipment and confirm the current position with you before the container is booked.

FOB, CIF or CFR from Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Kolkata or Chennai — quoted to your named destination port.
Approximately 26–27 MT per 20ft container, stuffed, fumigated and sealed at our factory under supervision.
Yes. Say so at enquiry stage — documentation and marking for transit cargo differ from goods clearing in Djibouti, and it is easier to prepare them correctly than to amend them later.
India to Djibouti is a well-served route across the Arabian Sea, and the road run to Addis Ababa adds a few days on top. Both vary with the sailing and the border, so we give you a target date at order confirmation and tell you promptly if it moves rather than quoting a transit time we cannot control.
Destination, variety, quantity, packaging and Incoterms are enough to price your first container. Samples are welcome.
